In 4 sections.
    Open: $$ 400-200-150, top Under 2010/Unr $240-120, top Under 1810 $200-100.

    Senior Under 1910: open to under 1910 born before 6/14/74. $$ 300-150-100, top Under 1710/Unr $140-70.

        Under 1610: $$ 240-120-70, Under 1410 $120-60.

    Under 1210: $120-60-40, plaques to top 3, 1st U1000, U800, Unr.

      Unrateds allowed all sections, with prize limits of $150 in Under 1610 Section, $80 in Under 1210 Section.


     Mixed doubles: best male/female 2-player combined score among all sections: $200-100. Team must average under 2200; may play in different sections or schedules; register (no extra fee) by 2 pm Sat.


Top 3 sections entry fee: $88 online at chessaction.com by 6/12, $100 after that until 1 hour before round 1 or at site.
Under 1210 Section entry fee: $68 online at chessaction.com by 6/12, $80 after that until 1 hour before round 1 or at site.

No checks at site, credit cards OK.
 
NYSCA members (NYSCA, the New York State Chess Association, is NOT the same as USCF), online EF $5 less (NYSCA dues: $20/year with 4 issues of Empire Chess or $12 for 2 issues; may join with online entry).

USCF Membership Required. Special 1 year US Chess dues
with magazine if paid with entry online at chessaction.com, Adult $43, Young Adult $26, Youth $19. Re-entry $40, not available in Open Section. GMs, IMs, WGMs free, $60 deducted from prize.

For all tournaments, adjusted FIDE or foreign ratings, if higher than US Chess, may be used. Players must disclose FIDE or foreign ratings when entering, or may later be expelled. Other over the board ratings such as club, league, scholastic, state or province, etc, adjusted if appropriate, may be used at our discretion if above US Chess.  No rating below the latest official US Chess rating, on the list corresponding to the ending date of the tournament, will be used. For 9 round events offering title norm possibilities, FIDE ratings are used. Click here for further details.

Ratings: June official US Chess ratings used. Unofficial uschess.org ratings used if otherwise unrated. Players must reveal foreign, FIDE and other over the board ratings, and these ratings, adjusted if necessary, may be used if higher than US Chess. See also above. 

Cannot play below Online Regular Rating – 100 points.

3-day schedule: Reg ends Fri 6 pm, rds. Fri 7, Sat 11 & 5, Sun 10 & 3:30.
2-day schedule: Reg ends Sat 10 am, rds. Sat 11, 2 & 5, Sun 10 & 3:30. Half point byes OK all rounds, must commit before rd. 2; limit 2 byes (limit 1 bye if under 1810/unr in Open).
