In 5 sections.

·      Major: Open to 1900/above. $2000-1000-600-400, clear/tiebreak winner $100 bonus, top USCF U2300 $600-300. FIDE rated.

·      Under 2100: $1000-500-300-200, top U1900/Unr $400-200. FIDE rated.

·      Under 1800: $1000-500-300-200, top U1600 (no Unr) $400-200.

·      Under 1500: $800-450-300-200, top U1300 (no Unr) $300-150.

·      Under 1200: $600-400-200-100, top U1000 (no Unr) $200-100.

Unrated limit $100 in U1200, $200 U1500, $400 U1800. If unrated prize is limited, balance goes to next eligible player(s) in line.

Mixed doubles prizes: best male/female 2-player combined score among all sections: $500-300-200. Must average under 2200; may play different sections and schedules; register at site (no extra fee) by 2 pm Sat.

Cannot play below USCF Online Regular Rating – 100 points.

World Open rule: Players who scored 8 or more points in 2024 World Open U2200 or below must enter higher section than in World Open.

Top 4 sections entry fee: $118 at chessaction.com by 7/24, $130 at site or online until an hour before round 1.

Under 1200 Section entry fee: all $20 less than above.

No checks at site, credit cards OK.

GMs $100 from prize.

CSCA or WMCA members, online EF $3 less.

Re-entry $60, no Major to Major.

PLAYERS MAY NOT POSSESS CELLPHONES DURING PLAY. Please leave your phone home, in your hotel room or car, or in a bag at your table. 

For all tournaments, adjusted FIDE or foreign ratings, if higher than USCF, may be used. Players must disclose FIDE or foreign ratings when entering, or may later be expelled. Other over the board ratings such as club, league, scholastic, state or province, etc, adjusted if appropriate, may be used at our discretion if above USCF.  No rating below the latest official USCF rating, on the list corresponding to the ending date of the tournament, will be used. For 9 round events offering title norm possibilities, FIDE ratings are used. Click here for further details.

 

Ratings: July official USCF ratings used. Unofficial or Online Regular uschess.org ratings usually used if otherwise unrated. Players must reveal foreign, FIDE and other over the board ratings, and these ratings, adjusted if necessary, may be used if higher than USCF. See also above.

Prizes  not claimed at site are usually paid through PayPal (may take over a week).

Special 1 year USCF membership with magazine if paid online with entry: Adult $43, Young Adult $26, Youth $19.
