Senior Championship, open to those born before 3/17/75. $$ 800-400-200, top Under 2300 $250, Under 1910 $150, Under 1710/Unr. $100. Top NY State resident qualifies to represent NY State at 2025 Irwin National Tournament of State Senior Champions in Madison, WI. NY State Title and $100 bonus to top-scoring NY State resident (both decided on tiebreak if tied).

open to all born before 3/17/07 and after 3/15/75. $$ 800-400-200, Top U2200
$250, U1900 $150, U1600/Unr. $100.
Mixed Doubles Bonus Prizes: best male+female 2-player
combined score among both sections: $200-100. Team must average under 2200; may
play in different sections; register (no extra fee) by 2 pm Sat.
Entry Fee: $88 online at chessaction.com by 3/12, $100 after until 1
hour before round 1 or at site.

Online Entry Fee $7 less to NYSCA
members (NYSCA, the New York State Chess
Association, is an optional membership, NOT the same as USCF). NYSCA
dues: $20/year with 4 issues of Empire Chess or $12 for 2 issues; may

dues with
magazine if paid with entry online at chessaction.com. GMs free, $80 deducted from prize.

For all tournaments, adjusted FIDE
or foreign ratings, if higher than US Chess, may be used. Players must disclose
FIDE or foreign ratings when entering, or may later be
expelled. Other over the board ratings such as club, league, scholastic, state
or province, etc, adjusted if appropriate, may be
used at our discretion if above US Chess. No rating below the latest
official US Chess rating, on the list corresponding to the ending date of the
tournament, will be used. For 9 round events offering title norm possibilities,
FIDE ratings are used. Click

if otherwise unrated. Players must reveal foreign, FIDE and other over the board ratings, and these ratings, adjusted if necessary, may be used if higher than US Chess.
