·      GMs, foreign IMs/WGMs: free (MUST RE-CONFIRM WITH TD at least 1 hour before first game in order to be paired).

·      US IMs, US WGMs, Foreign FIDE rated players rated 2000/up: $150 online at chessaction.com by 5/16, $175 by 6/25, $200 at site.

·      Foreign players rated under 2000 FIDE or unrated: $300 online by 5/16, $325 by 6/25, $350 at site.

·      US FIDE Masters: $200 online by 5/16, $225 by 6/25, $250 at site.

·      US players FIDE rated 2200/up: $300 online by 5/16, $325 by 6/25, $350 at site.

·      US players FIDE rated 2000/up: $400 online by 5/16, $425 by 6/25, $450 at site.

·        US players rated under 2000 FIDE or unrated: $800 online by 5/16, $825 by 6/25, $850 at site.

 

·        Players with Federation “FID” do not count as foreign players.

All: no checks at site, credit cards accepted.

Schedule: Late reg. ends Thu 6 pm. Rounds begin: Thu 7 pm, Fri 1 pm & 7 pm, Sat 11 am & 5 pm, Sun 10 am & 4 pm, Mon 10 am & 4 pm.

Two half point byes available; must commit before round 3; FIDE norm not possible if taking bye.

If you need to reserve a room to check-in to the Sheraton before July 1st AND to check out after June 30th, please email your request to director@chess.us and include your name, dates requested, number of beds and your email and phone number.  We will then forward your email to the Sheraton.  NOTE:  Continental Chess does not make the hotel reservations, we only forward your requests to the Sheraton-  for guests who are arriving before July 1st and also departing after June 30th.

 

Link For Overflow Hotel Reservations At The Sonesta Hotel 

     We have an overflow block of hotel sleeping rooms at the Sonesta Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square Hotel, 1800 Market Street in Philadelphia, about a ten-minute walk (4/10 mile), according to Google Maps, from the tournament site at the Sheraton Hotel.  The Chess Rate at the Sonesta is $141 per night:  click here for the Sonesta overflow chess rooms link (the Sonesta chess rate deadline is June 24 (but the overflow block may also sell out earlier or the rate may increase after June 24th). The hotel valet parking at the Sonesta for Sunday – Thursday is $51 per night; for Friday - Saturday: $47 per night.

     Players who are attending our events during the dates of June 28-29 and who are also planning on staying in Philadelphia for later events may wish to consider booking their entire stay at the Sonesta Hotel to avoid having to check in and out of two separate hotels.
