NEW YORK STATE HIGH SCHOOL BLITZ CHAMPIONSHIP!


4-DOUBLE-ROUND, Swiss-System, Blitz Chess Tournament
 (each round is two games, one White and one Black), G/3 d2, in one section, players in Grades 6-12 only (out-of-state eligible).
At Hilton Hotel, 534 Broadway Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Chess Rate Parking: $6 daytime, $12 overnight.

Entry Fee: $20 (no checks), US Chess membership required.

1st - $100, 2nd - $50

Top-scoring NY player is the New York State High School Blitz Champion!

1st, Rated Under 2100 - $60
1st, Rated Under 1800 - $50
1st, Rated Under 1500 (or Unrated) - $40

Prize amounts are proportioned on 20 entries.
One pair of half-point byes allowed in any round, must commit before Round 2.

Enter AT SITE ONLY, in the TD Room, between 6:00 pm and 7:40 pm Saturday.
Round 1: 8:00 pm, then ASAP, should end by 10:30 pm. 

March Ratings used. USCF Blitz-rated (will not affect your Regular rating), but prizes and pairings are based on the higher of your Blitz or Regular rating. CCA Minimum Ratings may be also used at Director's discretion. $10 service charge for refunds (no refunds after Round 1 is paired).

Players must supply their own clocks.
