NOTE!
As of 11/17, the chess rate is still available, and we
expect it to be available through at least 11/20. However, as happens at many
hotels, someone at Loews is giving players misinformation, saying that no rooms
are available at the chess rate. If you call to reserve a room and are told
this, please 1) let us know the name of the person who told you that, and 2)
call on a weekday 9 am-5 pm and ask for the Sales Office to make a reservation.
Parking: Loews has
valet parking only, with a special chess rate of $30/day. Many lots nearby
charge much less, especially on Sat & Sun. Gateway Garage, 7/10 mile away at
1540 Spring St. (1 block from Sheraton Hotel) is about $5/day Sat & Sun, $18/day
other days.
