In 7 sections. 3-day & 2-day schedules merge after round 2 and compete for same prizes. 

Major Section: Open to 1900/up (see peakrating.us).. Prizes $2000-1000-600-400, clear/tiebreak win $100 bonus, top USCF Under 2300 $800-400.  FIDE rated.

Under 2100 Section:
 $1400-700-400-300. FIDE rated. 
Under 1900 Section: $1400-700-400-300. 
Under 1700 Section: $1200-600-400-300. 
Under 1500 Section: $1100-600-300-200. 
Under 1300 Section: $1100-600-300-200.
Under 1000 Section: $500-250-150-100.  

Mixed doubles bonus prizes: best male/female 2-player team combined score among all sections: $600-400-200. Team must average under 2200; may play in different sections and schedules; register (no extra fee) by 2 pm Sat. 

Unrated may enter any section except Major, with prize limit U1000 $100, U1300 $200, U1500 $300, U1700 $400, U1900 $500; balance goes to next player(s) in line. 

Top 6 sections entry fee: $128 online at chessaction.com by 10/30, $150 (no checks, credit cards OK) later online or at site until an hour before round 1.  GMs free; $100 deducted from prize.  

Under 1000 Section entry fee: All $50 less than top 6 sections entry fees. 

Online entry fee $5 less to SCCF members; join/renew at scchess.com.

Re-entry
 $60; not available to go from Major Section to Major Section.  

Special 1 year USCF dues with magazine if paid online with entry: Adult $43, Young Adult $26, Youth $19.

Cannot play below USCF Online Regular rating minus 100 points.

2-day schedule: Reg Sat to 10 am, rds Sat 11, 2 & 5, Sun 10 & 3:30. 
All schedules: Half point byes OK all, limit 2, must commit before round 2.

PLAYERS MAY NOT POSSESS CELLPHONES DURING PLAY. Please leave your phone home, or in your hotel room or car, or in a bag at your table. 

For all tournaments, adjusted FIDE or foreign ratings, if higher than USCF, may be used. Players must disclose FIDE or foreign ratings when entering, or may later be expelled. Other over the board ratings such as club, league, scholastic, state or province, etc, adjusted if appropriate, may be used at our discretion if above USCF.  No rating below the latest official USCF rating, on the list corresponding to the ending date of the tournament, will be used.
