Major Section: Open to 1900/up. $1200-600-300, top USCF Under 2300 $400-200. FIDE rated.
Under 2100 Section: $900-500-300, top Under 1900 $400-200. FIDE rated.
Under 1800 Section: $800-500-300, top Under 1600 (no unr) $300-150. Unrated limit $300.
Under 1500 Section: $700-400-250, top Under 1300 (no unr) $300-150. Unrated limit $200.
Under 1200 Section: $400-200-100, Unrated limit $100.
Mixed Doubles bonus prizes: best male/female 2-player team combined score among all sections: $300-150. Team must average under 2200; may play in different sections; register (no extra fee) by 2 pm 7/17.
Top 4 sections entry fee: $93 online at chessaction.com by 7/14, 3-day $98, 2-day $97 if check mailed by 7/6, $110 at site, or online until 2 hours before round 1. No checks at site, credit cards OK.
Under 1200 Section entry fee: All $30 less than above.
Greater New York Scholastic reduced fee prizewinners: $40 less. Enter at chessaction.com for full price and email director@chess.us to request a $40 refund.
Special 1 year USCF dues with Chess Life if paid with entry. Online at chessaction.com, Adult $40, Young Adult $25, Youth $18. Mailed or at site, $45, $27 & $20. USCF membership required.
Online entry fee $3 less to CSCA or WMCA members. Re-entry $50; not available to go from Major to Major. GMs free; $80 deducted from prize.

Foreign player rating info
For all tournaments, adjusted FIDE or foreign ratings, if
higher than USCF, may be used. Players
must disclose FIDE or foreign ratings when entering, or may later be expelled.
Other over the board ratings such as club, league, scholastic, state or province, etc, adjusted
if appropriate, may be used at our discretion if above USCF. No rating
below the latest official USCF rating, on the list corresponding to the ending
date of the tournament, will be used. For 9 round events offering title norm
possibilities, FIDE ratings are used.

official USCF regular OTB ratings used. Unofficial or Online Regular uschess.org ratings
usually used if otherwise unrated. Players
must reveal foreign, FIDE and other over the board ratings, and these ratings,
adjusted if necessary, may be used, if higher than USCF. See also above. If
USCF Regular Online rating is more than 50 points over section
or prize maximum, prize limit $150.
3-day schedule:
