For indivisible prizes such as trophies, championship titles, free entries, etc., the following tiebreak system is used to break ties among players with the same final score in Round-Robin (all-play-all) tournametns. .

What if several players are tied at the end with the same score?  The tiebreak system used is known as the Sonneborn-Berger System  (also known as the partial scores method):

The computer adds up the scores of each tied player's opponents who the player defeated, in addition to half of the final sores of all the opponents who drew the player.  The player receives nothing for any games lost or any unplayed games.  If the tie still remains unbroken, the results of the game(s) between the tied players is then used to break the tie.
