Please note that entries for the sections
at the Hilton Hotel and the Saratoga Springs City Center (see below) have now been closed
due to space limitations.
If you wish to be added to our wait list, in the event that additional space might become available
later, please note the following procedure.
NOTE: Entries after March 3rd into the
High School Sections who then request to transfer to the other sections will be
treated as requests to be added to the Wait List.
For those wishing to be added to the wait list, please
send an email to director@chess.us
with the Subject: "Request To Be Added To The NY State
Scholastics Wait List."
There are no phone entries.
The email request must include the following information.
1. Player's Name and USCF ID Number (new or expired
members will need to join USCF before we process their entry: https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess
).
2. WHICH SECTION (as per below).
At
the Hilton
1. K-1 Under 400
2. K-1 Championship
3. K-3 Under 800
At
the Hilton or the City Center, to be determined later per space availability
4. K-3 Championship
At
the City Center
5. K-5 Under 600
6. K-5 Under 1000
7. K-5 Under 1400
8. K-5 Championship
9. K-8 Under 900
10. K-8 Under 1600
11. K-8 Championship
3. The player's grade, birthdate and school.
4. The player's March 2023 Official Rating: http://www.uschess.org/msa/MbrLst.php
5. The parent or coach's address, email
and phone.
We reserve the right to make corrections
and possible section changes to player requests submitted with incorrect
information (such as incorrect rating, etc.).
We will contact you by email if space becomes
available.
Later, if space becomes available, we
will give instructions on how to pay and a time frame to do so. After we
confirm payment, we will process the registration.
Wait list requests
not following the above procedure are not processed.
