NOTE!
As of Sept 16, rooms with two beds at the Hyatt are
sold out on Oct 7 and 8, and in very short supply on Oct 9, 10, and
11. If you need a room with two beds and it is not available,
either:
1) Ask for a rollaway bed, a limited number will be
available at the Hyatt without charge, or
2) Stay at our overflow hotel, the Courtyard at 2899
Jefferson Davis Highway (1 block away), which has a special chess
rate of $99 single or twin. Call 800-321-2211 and ask for the
chess rate.

US player ratings:
October list used; FIDE ratings usually used in Master
Section, however if USCF rating exceeds FIDE by more than 150 points,
an adjusted USCF rating may be used. For Expert or
below, unofficial uschess.org ratings are usually used if otherwise
unrated.
Special rules:
Players must submit to a search for electronic
devices if requested by Director. In round 3 or after, players with
scores of 80% or over and their opponents may not use headphones,
earphones or cellphones or go to a different floor of the hotel
without Director permission.
