Open Section: Open to all. $700-400-200, top USCF Under 2100/Unr $300-150. FIDE rated.
Under 2000 Section: $500-250-150, top Under 1800 $300-150. FIDE rated.
Under 1700 Section: $400-200-100, top Under 1500 (no unr) $240-120. Unrated limit $200.
Under 1400 Section: $200-100-60, top Under 1200 (no unr) $120-60. Unrated limit $100.
Mixed Doubles bonus prizes:
best male/female 2-player team combined score among all
sections: $200-100. Team must average under 2200; may play in
different sections; register (no extra fee) by 2 pm Sat.
College team prizes: Plaques
to top 2 teams (top 3 from school, all sections).
Scholastic team prizes: Plaques to top
2 K-12 teams (top 3 from school, all sections).
Top 3 sections entry fee: $88 online at chessaction.com by 10/19, $100 at site or online until 1 hour before round 1. No checks at site, credit cards OK. No mailed entries.
Under 1400 Section entry fee: All $20 less than above.
Special 1 year USCF dues with magazine if paid online with entry. Adult $40, Young Adult $25, Youth $18. USCF membership required.
Online entry fee $5 less to NYSCA members; may join with entry. Re-entry $40; not available to go from Major to Major. GMs, IMs & WGMs free; $80 deducted from prize.

Foreign player rating info
For all tournaments, adjusted FIDE or foreign ratings, if
higher than USCF, may be used. Players
must disclose FIDE or foreign ratings when entering, or may later be expelled.
Other over the board ratings such as club, league, scholastic, state or province, etc, adjusted
if appropriate, may be used at our discretion if above USCF. No rating
below the latest official USCF rating, on the list corresponding to the ending
date of the tournament, will be used. For 9 round events offering title norm
possibilities, FIDE ratings are used.

Ratings:
October
official USCF regular OTB ratings used. Unofficial or Online Regular uschess.org ratings
usually used if otherwise unrated. Players
must reveal foreign, FIDE and other over the board ratings, and these ratings,
adjusted if necessary, may be used, if higher than USCF. See also above.
3-day schedule:
Reg ends Fri 6 pm, rds. Fri 7
pm, Sat 11 am & 5 pm, Sun 10 am & 3:30 pm.
2-day schedule: Reg ends Sat 10 am, rds. Sat 11 am, 2 pm & 5 pm, Sun

Half point byes: OK all rounds, limit 2; must commit before round 2.
