CHICAGO OPEN BLITZ

4-DOUBLE-ROUND, Swiss-System, Blitz Chess Tournament, 8 GAMES
 (each round is two games, one White and one Black), 5 minutes per player
(Game/5, NO DELAY!), Westin Chicago North Shore Hotel (see Chicago Open).

Entry Fee: $40 by 7 pm Sun, $50 by 9:30 pm. No checks. USCF membership is required to participate.

PRIZES: $1500 based on 48 entries!
Top 3: $300, $200, $100
U2200/Unr: $180-90
 U2000/Unr: $160-80
 U1800: $140-70
U1600: $120-60

Prize amounts are proportioned on 48 entries, otherwise raised or lowered in proportion.
Bye OK in Round 1.
Enter AT SITE ONLY, in the TD Room, Sunday by 9:30 pm.
Game times: 10 pm, 10:30 pm, 11 pm and 11:30 pm.

USCF Blitz-rated (will not affect your Regular rating), but prizes and pairings are based
on the higher of your Blitz or Regular rating. CCA Minimum Ratings may be also used at Director's discretion.
